Ten Recommended Reads: Week of 22-29 January 2016

There are so many great posts that I get to read during the week that I took a page out of many a bloggers’ book and decided to share a round-up of my favorite ten posts each Friday, which can either be used to make this evening’s commute go by quicker, or to accompany tomorrow morning’s cup of coffee.

I’m also looking for a better name to this feature; any suggestions would be welcome, either in the comments below, by email, or on Twitter!

Recipes

These double chocolate chip cookies are probably very dangerous, but oh my goodness they seem so good… Especially if you dunk them in a white chocolate latte… Not quite sure how much you’ll get done after the sugar crash though!

Inspiration

Giving oneself permission to fail opens up a whole new vista of opportunities where, ironically enough, we might succeed like never before. Maybe that’s why Buffy: The Vampire Slayer seems to be inspiring as many as it did when it first aired?

Positivity

Now this is what I call true friendship.

Personal Development

Resilience comes in quite handy in pursuing all of our life’s endeavours, but where can we get it from?

Community Development

There is something about the end of the lives of many in North America that doesn’t ring true to who we really are.

Relationships

I was shocked by how few couples discuss money.

The X-Files

Where it has been and who its real star just might be.
