Happy Sunday! This blogger uses Sundays to plan and prepare for the upcoming week. I have been asked so many times about the resources that help me plan a full week that I decided to launch the “Planning the Week” feature with three concomitant components: a recommended book to make your commute easier; a healthy recipe to make your week tastier and healthier; and a planning/planner tip to keep it all running smoothly.
I eat healthy–most of the time. The tail end of the winter is always difficult for me though–something about the constant grey weather just gets to me, and I crave anything with chocolate. Unsurprisingly, then, I fell in love with these Dark Chocolate Velvet Brownies–just looking at the picture makes me drool. And it doesn’t have to be overindulgence; freezing most of the pan to bring out a square a day to warm up and have with an afternoon coffee works really, really well. But if winter lasts too long this year, the Homans (from whom I also borrowed the drool-worthy picture in this post) are going to owe me a gym membership. Just saying.
