Happy Sunday! I use Sundays to plan and prepare for the upcoming week. I have been asked so many times about the resources that help me plan a full week that I decided to launch the “Planning the Week” feature with three concomitant components: a recommended book to make your commute easier; a healthy recipe to make your week tastier and healthier; and a planning/planner tip to keep it all running smoothly.
Spring is making it’s way up to the topmost corners of the North American continent and with it comes increasing urges for lighter foods. Christie‘s blog, Sparkles of Sunshine, seems like just the right fit for this time of the year, as does her Lemon Crescent Roll recipe.
I mean just look at this picture. Doesn’t it just scream spring with all its associated glories? I know, I know, spring also means being careful to shed some of the inevitable winter weight that seems to slap on and stick around whatever one might do about it (including a 6 day a week workout and careful carb and fat watch!). But then again, having one of these a couple of morning a week couldn’t hurt too much…. Right?
